K. Narayan was one of the pioneers Indo Anglian fiction along with Mulk Raj Anand and Raja Rao. Their heydays were marked by complicated social issues such as India’s struggle for Independence more stressful period afterwards. Among three, many consider R. most realistic in considering Indian settings. The Financial Expert is again considered Narayan’s masterpiece many. It’s a well-constructed novel five parts. story focused on three main aspects relating to central character Margayya. They are; Margayya’s determination acquire wealth, his love own son Balu relationship brother sister law. It at times mesmerizing analyze use humor irony crafting fate normal middle class individual.
